Why is this cheaper-shorter than full Class A?
The FMCSA lets current Class B holders take a reduced upgrade curriculum - you already proved the shared material. This course is only the Class A additions.
Do I need to retake what I know?
No. That is the point of the upgrade path.
Do I have to redo all of Class A theory?
No. The FMCSA created a separate, shorter upgrade curriculum for Class B holders. That is what this course is.
I had a Class B before 2022. Do I still need this?
Yes. Class A is a new class of license, and ELDT applies to the upgrade regardless of when you got the Class B.
What else do I need?
A Class A learner permit (combination vehicles knowledge test), behind-the-wheel training in a tractor-trailer, and the Class A skills test.
What if I am not satisfied?
